With over a decade of diversified experience, Nair is focused on growth and strategy through sourcing and maintaining investments and capital partners. 

Nair most recently led hotel investments and capital markets for Kolter Hospitality. Despite a 50% decrease in hotel transaction volume, he closed over $300m with over $60m in committed equity. Nair also led the debt restructuring and lender negotiations for the $1b hotel portfolio, successfully positioning the portfolio for further sustainable growth post COVID-19.

Prior to his most recent role, Nair worked with the most distinguished and reputable firms in lodging. He has overseen over $3 billion in real estate from his work at hotelAVE,  Starwood Property Trust, Aztec Group, and Satori Collective. Nair leveraged his professional experiences and skills to invest his family and own capital throughout the years, hence, creating Carapace Capital.
